Cracking the Kindle-Nook Code:

How to Get Amazon and Barnes & Noble to Market Your Book For You

Believe it or not, getting your book “ranked” on Amazon and Barnes & Noble is easier than most people realize.  All it takes is a little research and “brow sweat” to create a marketing platform that makes Amazon and Barnes & Noble do the marketing for you.  Once they market for you, your sales become almost automatic.

In the “Cracking the Kindle-Nook Code” workshop, the format of the workshop is simple.

In the first half of the workshop:

Two writers (one traditionally published and one self published) will discuss how ranking high on Amazon and Barnes & Noble helped their book sales.  They will also discuss what they believe was their # 1 Marketing Tool for promoting their books.

In the second half of the workshop, I will show:

  1. How to Pick the Right Category for your book
  2. How to Pick Tags that are “Search Engine Friendly”
  3. How to Take Full Advantage of Your Author Pages
  4. How to Use Amazon like a Social Media Platform
  5. How to Get on a “Recommended List”
  6. And Where to Get Reviews for Your Books.

This workshop is a very simple easy-to-follow class that will help writers look at Amazon and Barnes & Noble in a whole new way.

About the Speakers

E.T. Barton self-published two bookkeeping books on the Kindle.  Within 72 hours, both books hit the #1 & #2 spots for all bookkeeping books (printed and Kindle versions) and have stayed in the Top 10 Bookkeeping Books ever since…all without any marketing.  They have also remained in the top 1% of all Kindle books ever since.

Kathy Bennett self-published her first book, “A Dozen Deadly Roses” on the Kindle and the Nook.  Her book quickly rose to the Top 25 of Police Procedurals for both websites, and soon hit # 50 of ALL Kindle books and #12 of ALL Nook Books.  To this day, Kathy’s first book remains #1 in Police Procedurals on both the Nook and the Kindle.

Carol Ericson has published almost a dozen books with Harlequin Intrigue and four books on her own.  Three of her four self-published books have hit the Top 100 of all Romantic Suspense books on the Kindle, and have also climbed to the top 2,500 of ALL Kindle books.  Her self-published book, Smokescreen is in the Top 600 of all Kindle books currently and is quickly rise.
